Customer Acquisition and Growth
+ Head of Sales (USA)
First and foremost, you will be selling and closing deals as we are a startup. This role reports directly to our founders. In this exciting opportunity, you will build a sales team from the ground up that you will lead and coach; and steer executive conversations with our key customers on business objectives, challenging their status quo to inspire community thanking.
You will partner closely with stakeholders in Product and Customer Success at ScaleGrowth to deliver on company objectives for commercial growth and key vertical expansion. The main focus of your strategy will be to audit, strengthen and diversify our customer acquisition channels.
This position can grow into a CRO or even a Sales/Growth Co-founder
What you’ll be doing
- You will be selling and closing deals as we are a startup
- Refine sales pitch, messagings, and communications for different target audience
- Building out and optimizing the Sales Process to scale and grow
- Recruiting new talent to join sales and corresponding departments
- Shorten sales cycle
- Proactively supporting the team wherever required in client activity and deals
- Data-driven. Define, measure, and manage sales funnel metrics.
- Ensure quarterly revenue targets and monthly goals are achieved
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales data and provide reliable forecast information to the team
What you bring to the table
- You have 5+ years of experience in selling within the SaaS b2b space
- You have 2+ years of experience managing a team of quota-carrying SaaS sales professionals
- You’re flexible and able to travel nationwide
- You are highly skilled in Salesforce reporting
+ Vertical Head of Growth (Online)
The “Growth Marketer” we are looking for is not a typical silicon valley “growth hacker” since we believe great brands rarely become huge from “hacks,” but from repeatable, scalable, creative, and thoughtful processes.
At the core, this job exists to help make sure the community industry knows about ScaleGrowth. More specifically, this role is looking into creating user acquisition channels and then investing heavily in the ones that work the best while discovering new channels.
Your objective is to help reach our ambitious customer growth targets for the Vertical you are in charge of – and then scale significantly from there.
Beyond that, ScaleGrowth is reinventing the way relationships to drive success. You, as the Head of Growth, will be driving this through-and-through.
This position can grow into a Head of Vertical or even a Vertical CEO if successful.
What you’ll be doing
- Growing to an ambitious growth targets, and then beyond that.
- Running campaigns both online and offline and other direct marketing channels.
- Coming up with creative ways to help our users share more.
- Creating content to get more traffic from search and social.
- Increasing the conversion on our website.
- Setting and executing extremely ambitious growth targets.
- And eventually, leading a team to help grow the brand.
Necessary skills & qualifications
- You know how to get traffic via Linkedin, Facebook, SEO, etc.
- Be able to design and implement effective viral tactics.
- You are a tracking pro using Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Heap, or other tracking tools.
- You know how to use Google Tag Manager or Segment to collect user data.
- You understand Javascript.
- You never get tired of running A/B split tests.
- You write persuasive content and ad copy, and experienced with writing ads, sales cycle emails, landing page copies.
- You are experienced launching and maintaining content marketing initiatives.
- You convert using UI/UX design.
- Using landing pages to design a sales funnel with landing page software.
- You know how to handle data, good at using excel.
- You are a great communicator, be able to convey data into sensible business decisions.
- You are a stubborn learner - growth marketing is an ever changing landscape, we need your persistence and perseverance
This is currently a part-time position and can lead to full time. Our team operates fully distributed online, with team members on every continent. Timezone-wise, our co-founders you will be working with are in Bay Area.
